This is the clear proof that pop music can be catchy and easy to enter in, yet propose something rich and explore more experimental paths. It is a very nice album towards which I keep coming back now and again, and that never disappoints.
Favorite track: Conceptual.
"The classic analogue medium contributes to the strange theosophical style of the song's unorthodox composition and delivery, compounding the wayward breeze of the woodwinds, Rebecca and Elaina's haunting harmonic recitations of the song's namesake and the mysterious mellow rhythm chord structures into a fully entrancing experience. Wet Fruit's "Water" is an organic work of art that invites the audience on their serene avant-garde stream of conscious journey into the perplexing woods and wildernesses of the PNW that is both surreal, strange and wonderful." - Week In Pop
This sounds like it could have been released in any of the last 5-6 decades. Solid, tight songs that warm the soul. I’m picking up on a wide diversity of sounds, from The Pixies to Blondie. Really glad to have stumbled across these guys! Mister Anthrope
I started with Ants From Up There, came back to this one and it is mind-blowing what this group is capable of. Such a shame Isaac is no longer a part of the band but he had his reasons. Such an exciting band to explore and follow. smeef
